Water is diamagnetic – this forces it to structure into h3o2 (“ez water”, per dr Gerald Pollack). All living cells have h3o2 – discovered 1912.
Energy from a south pole on a magnet is different from energy on the north pole, thereby producing different results. The fact that they don’t mention this is questionable. North pole energies are divergent where-as south pole energies are convergent. This type of research goes back to the 1930s when Roy Davies was doing similar exposures with various lifeforms. Chicken eggs exposed to north pole energies produced Large quick growing and aggressive chickens that took to eating meat. They would jump on the backs of other chickens and peck them to death. South pole energies produced chickens that were small, slow going and very fastidious in their housekeeping and grooming. Increased voltage top-bottom across anything will either increase or decrease its size and livelihood, depending upon voltage polarity. Perhaps a greater atmospheric voltage gradient in the past allowed for “giants” of lore. Redwood forest voltage measurements would be super interesting.
