I have looked at this building for a few years and found no associations with other structures……until now. The George Washington Masonic Memorial is a fitting tribute to our first President. Its design is based on the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria. Its placement anchors the street plan of the City of Alexandria and points the way to Mt. Vernon. Thank you for watching.
