A six-year old scene from animated series Family Guy appears to foreshadow Bruce Jenner’s recent gender transition.
The clip, featuring popular characters Stewie Griffin and pet dog Brian, has gone viral following the former Olympian’s transition and subsequent Vanity Fair cover shoot as Caitlyn Jenner.
Taken from a 2009 episode of the long-running show, the playful 18-second exchange takes place after the pair reference her son Brody Jenner’s birth.

Meanwhile E! Entertainment says its documentary series on the former Bruce Jenner premiering next month will be titled I Am Cait and it’s showing a promo video for the series depicting her applying makeup.
The Olympic champion revealed this week her new name is Caitlyn Jenner. She’s featured in an eight-episode series depicting her transition from a man to a woman that will debut July 26.

‘I’m the new normal’: Caitlyn Jenner stars in new documentary
E! ramped up promotion Wednesday by releasing a video that depicts Jenner applying lipstick while sitting at a makeup table.
She says for the first time a professional had come in and applied makeup for her. She says, ‘What a difference.’
Caitlyn also declares while driving near her California home, ‘I’m the new normal.’
The 65-year-old revealed to Vanity Fair that she watched the Miss America pageant for ideas on what to call herself now.

The former decathlete previously considered Heather, Cathy, and even Kaitlyn with a K before finally settling on a name suggested by her personal assistant Rhonda.
She told the publication that she had surveyed the names at the Miss America pageant and was unsure what to call herself until Rhonda suggested Caitlyn, a name she had long had an affinity for.
However, there was still the decision as to how to spell the new moniker.
Caitlyn revealed that she vacillated between using a K or a C but ultimately decided upon C to separate herself from the media associations related to Kris Jenner naming all of her daughters with K names.
Elsewhere applications, affidavits, a background check and a possible court appearance are in store for Caitlyn following her transition.
Establishing her changed life officially will involve getting new identity documents, such as a driver’s license, birth certificate and Social Security card, as well as changing bank and financial records.
